Noerr Programs provides Digital Event Imaging Services, Productions, and Promotions for clients nationwide. In addition, to serving malls nationwide, their event resume includes the 1996 Olympics, the 2000 Democratic convention, Special Olympics movie premiers, corporate events, conferences, trade shows and youth sports.
Challenge:
Noerr had a customized program which was used to enter all their salaried/hourly employee worked hours and demographic information. They used to import all this information through Sage Abra and it required lot of manual labor to manipulate the data. Noerr realized soon that the program was too complicated and inefficient. At this point, they were searching for software which was easy to use and tightly integrated with Sage Abra Payroll. Through their market survey, they found quite a few potential vendors, but concluded that only Employee Based Systems had the solution they needed. This solution was the EBS developed product called EZ-Time Import which could meet their immediate requirement of importing and exporting required data from a CSV file into Sage Abra Payroll.
The correct balancing of payroll is critical concern for Noerr or any other company. Noerr Programs also decided to include EBS’ EZ-Wage and Tax application as a compliment to Sage Abra Payroll, because of EZ-Wage and Tax’s proven efficiency in the location of payroll errors and in the balancing of payroll.

Solution:
The use of EZ-Time Import made things much easier for Noerr. First of all, the import of data into Sage Abra was quicker and accurate. Since, the program was fully- integrated with Sage Abra and would automatically import hours, gross receipts, tip data, flat amounts, etc. from any output file format. They had a special customization request wherein the program should export file from Sage Abra.
